Challenges in Accessible Learning Solutions for Visually Impaired Individuals

Modern Architecture

1

Lack of Integrated Learning Tools

Research shows that simultaneous engagement through touch and hearing enhances learning outcomes for visually impaired individuals. However, existing assistive aids often separate tactile and audio learning materials, hindering the ability to learn effectively through multisensory methods.

2

Absence of Personalized Learning Options

Personalized learning materials have been proven to boost student engagement. Unfortunately, current learning solutions lack the capability for users to create customized learning materials tailored to their unique needs and preferences.

3

Accessibility Barriers in E-Learning

The rise of e-learning has introduced new opportunities, yet many digital materials, particularly graphical content, remain inaccessible or require complex conversions to be usable for visually impaired learners, creating significant barriers to access and participation.

Our Innovative Solutions for
Accessible Learning

We envision a world where there are no barriers to learning for individuals with visual impairments

Braille Reading

Inclusive Learning App with Audio and Touch Assistive Technology

We are creating a mobile app that provides audio descriptions of graphical learning materials specifically designed for visually impaired individuals.

Our app allows users to attach transparent tactile graphics to their devices, enabling them to experience learning through touch and hearing simultaneously without hindering their ability to operate the device or access audio descriptions.

DIY Module for Custom-Made Learning Materials

Our DIY module empowers users, educators, and parents to create personalized learning materials with audio descriptions in multiple languages and tactile graphics tailored to the needs of visually impaired learners.

Additionally, the DIY module simplifies the process of transforming graphical learning materials into tactile printable formats compatible with UV printers, ensuring ease of access and customization.

Data Cloud

Cloud-Based Accessible Learning Database

We are developing a cloud platform that allows users to upload and share their custom-made learning materials with others.

Through collaborative efforts on the cloud platform, users can contribute to building a comprehensive and accessible knowledge database, enhancing learning opportunities for visually impaired individuals worldwide.
